Program Components
The T2 program has four primary components through which it addresses the needs of each second-year student:
1. The Academic and Career Planning component focuses on providing various programs to facilitate the outcomes of choosing a major, finding internship options, and writing a professional resume. Career Coaches hold weekly office hours in Mayer Residence hall to assist sophomores with their career related needs. Students are also encouraged to utilize their academic advisors in planning future course schedules.
2. The Residential component focuses on providing various programs committed to establishing a community oriented and memorable living environment. Serving as the home of T2, Mayer Residence Hall is the location of the majority of T2 programs.
3. The Leadership component focuses on providing opportunities for continuing development and growth of a student’s overall leadership potential. Be it through skill development or by learning more about themselves, students will gain a better understanding of the world around them and be better prepared to address challenges that arise in their lives.
4. The Faculty Interaction component focuses on providing students with the opportunity to interact and network with various faculty members throughout the year. This increased level of interaction will benefit students in their professions and in society.
